Asker Healthcare Group has been awarded a Platinum rating by EcoVadis

“It’s an important acknowledgement of the extensive work that all companies in Asker has put into delivering on our sustainability strategy ‘A Bigger Care’ over the last few years. We are a vital link between product companies and patients and we aim to use this position to contribute to a more sustainable healthcare sector,” says Sanna Norman, Head of ESG at Asker Healthcare Group.

This is the second year that Asker Healthcare Group has been evaluated by EcoVadis. In 2022, Asker received Gold and was among the 5 percent highest placed companies. By setting higher goals and continuously improving the proacesses, Asker increases its rating further in 2023 and receives Platinum.

EcoVadis evaluates companies based on the standards of GRI, UNGC, ILO and ISO 26000 in four areas: Environmental, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. The assessment has been made via internal documentation from Asker as well as third party professionals and external stakeholders.

Asker Healthcare Group is seen as particularly strong when it comes to sustainable procurement. This includes working with suppliers to ensure that they fulfil Asker’s standards in business ethics and responsible sourcing, performing third-party manufacturing audits, environmental audits and actively reducing their emissions.

In order to maintain this platinum rating, together with all the Asker companies, we at Evercare Medical will continue working on delivering on the goals set out in our ESG strategy.
