Evercare® pen needles are single use insulin needles that is used together with an insulin pen for self- medication of insulin, for patient with type I diabetes. The flat needle base is a new design that have a lager surface that are in contact with the skin, which can improve the comfort for the patient while injecting insulin. The outer cover has a flat top so it can stand upside down putting the outer cover back on the needle, to prevent accidental needle injury after injection. The flat needle base reduces the risk of intramuscular injection.
